Celebrate Holidays with "Paperless Post"*

Hello!

Holidays are just around the corner. If you're like me, you have family and friends all over the world and it can be tough to express your festivity.

Every year I try to think of ideas for gifts I can stuff into the box or preferably envelope and ship them out to my loved ones. It's not only a huge headache to find creativity in yourself but also is costly. Mailing cards is another hardship for me as I lack in thoughts of how I should present it. What is more, I always worry that the gifts or cards will be lost or won't reach people in time.

"Paperless Post" is a perfect way to celebrate holidays with your loved ones. This company designs customizable stationery and shows that communication can be personal and well-designed regardless of the medium.

As soon as you sign in you can purchase coins that can be used to buy online cards (they offer some free card designs as well) and premium options like envelope liners, logos etc. There is a dashboard that lets you track your cards, add contacts and much more.

Here is the card I created for you guys with "Paperless Post":

There are so many choices and you can use filters such as color, card shape, designer and so on. Simply pick your favorite design and start customizing it your way. Choose the text, backdrop and other things. You can even upload your own logo. Custom make not only your card but envelope, envelope liner and more. Finally, add your recipients and the card will be on the way! You can also schedule when you would like your card to be sent which I find really convenient.

It takes a moment for it to be delivered. You can check the status of your card and the recipient has an ability to respond to you.

Visit their website at www.paperlesspost.com to customize cards as well as invitations, flyers and much more. They have a huge variety of designs that are absolutely stunning for every life occasion.

Goodluck exploring!

Dollar Tree Haul (8)

Hello!

Yet another one of my Dollar Tree hauls. These I purchased this past weekend and didn't have a chance to post until now.

1. Wyler's Authentic Italian Ices (Original Flavors). Repeat buy. I love these for the summer days. Definitely recommend.

2. Betty Crocker Welch's Oatmeal Bar Grape Mix. I bought these thinking they were oatmeal bars but later noticed it is a mix. I haven't made it yet but will definitely try it out. A great buy.

3. Golden Foods Honey Nut Toasted Oats. I would not recommend this. I didn't like it as it felt stale and artificial.

4. Betty Crocker Suddenly Salad Tuscan Grains. I haven't tried it yet but it looks great. They had other kinds of salads there as well. It's a pretty good deal.

5. Mrs. Freshley's Delicious Deals Chocolate Chip Cremes. These are not very healthy but super delicious. Definitely satisfies sweet tooth.

6. Eden's Kitchen Peach Halves in Light Syrup. I love these as a sweet snack. Really delicious and you get a huge can for a buck.

7. E-Circuit Cell Phone Cases (fit iPhone SE, 5 and 5s). I love that Dollar Tree carries these phone cases. I would definitely recommend the silicone ones (2nd and 3rd in the picture) but not the hard plastic ones (1st in the picture) as they do not seem to fit the phone and might scratch your phone while trying to put it on. The other two are amazing. Seems to be pretty heavy duty and fits perfectly. They come in different patterns and colors.

8. Daily Defense Deep Conditioner with Coconut Oil and Vitamin E. I have been looking for this particular product at the DT. I love another hair mask I purchased there and this one is great too. Makes my hair soft and easy to brush. Just don't put too much and make sure you wash it off well as it can make your hair heavy/greasy like. Smells amazing and controls frizz. I use it every time I wash my hair. Sulfate and cruelty free, which is a plus.

9. Special Moments Photo Frame (4x6). I got this because of the yellow outline inside the frame as it would match the decor in one of my rooms. I am not a huge fan of DT picture frames as they can break easy but this one seems pretty sturdy.

10. The Home Store Tissues (175). It's a pretty good deal. Not as thick and soft as more expensive tissues but works when you need them.

11. Assured Panty Liners (40). I repurchase these all the time. Great for a dollar.

12. Nature's Measure Women's Daily Vitamins (30). I don't know if this is just in my head but these are the only vitamins I tried that make a difference. The tablets are small and easy to swallow, just 1 per day.

13. Garden Collections Metal Hanging Plant Brackets. I did a small and easy DIY project with these which I will share soon.

Dollar Tree Haul (7)

Hello!

I went to the Dollar Tree yesterday and found a few things I want to share with you.

1. Extra Sweet Watermelon Gum. I always grab the gum at the Dollar Tree. This one has 20 pieces. I like the flavor too.

2. Gillette Venus Olay Shaving Gel in Vanilla Cashmere. I saw some YouTubers haul this item and found it myself. I really like it. It's a full size product and smells great. They have other scents as well but this was the only one available at my store. It comes out in gel but turns into cream kind of texture. Definitely recommend to pick it up if you find it.

3. Furlani Texas Garlic Toast. I love it. It was really good. It comes with 6 slices in a pack. Good deal and delicious.

4. Scissors. I was in need of these. They are kind of flimsy, not the best to cut anything very thick or hard but works pretty well overall.

5. Little Secrets Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Candy. I hauled toasted coconut ones before and thought I would try these. Tastes really good. Reminds me a lot of M&M's. Definitely recommend.

6. Chex Mix Savory Traditional Snack Mix. They had various flavors of these in my store. Great snack. Recommend picking these up.

7. Chex Mix Sweet & Salty Honey Nut Snack Mix. This is another flavor I wanted to try out. Haven't tasted it yet but I think it will be delicious.

8. Wyler's Authentic Italian Ices Original Flavors. I love these. My staple item during the summer.

Until next DT haul.

Dollar Tree Haul (6)

Hello!

Here is yet another DT haul. This one is from the last 2 trips to the store.

1. Hanover Brown Sugar & Bacon Baked Beans. These ones were really tasty. A pretty good deal as well.

2. Nutty Naturals Rain Forest trail mix. I usually pick these up. Great if you are looking for a low sodium snack.

3. Sherwood Nut Clusters (peanut, sunflower, pumpkin seed and cranberries). I love these. Fills you up and tastes great.

4. Betty Crocker Sweet Rewards Brownie Bars with Caramel. I have never seen these before but I decided to try them and it was a score. Definitely satisfies my sweet tooth.

5. Quaker Caramel Nut Chewy Dipps. This is a repurchase. I love taking these to work for a snack or just have them as a treat. Happy to find brand names at the Dollar Tree. Not very healthy but better than chocolate candy bar, I suppose. :D

More food items:

1. Wyler's Authentic Italian Ices (Original Flavors). I love these during the summer time. Great way to cool off when it's hot.

2. Snyder's Bowties Crispy Baked Pretzels (Original). I've seen people haul these and thought I would try them. I love them with hummus and it's a pretty good deal.

3. Premium Hunt's Pasta Sauce (Garlic and Herb). Usually I get my pasta sauce from Aldi's but I wanted to try this out.

1. Aluminum Foil. I grabbed this since I was out of it. Might not be very sturdy but works when I need it.

2. Fabuloso Multi Purpose Cleaner (Passion of Fruits). It smells really good, mostly like apples. I got this to clean the floor. I don't think it leaves the scent for a very long time once it dries. I was happy it had 30% more of product.

3. Lysol Power Toilet Bowl Cleaner. I have never seen this in the store before so I thought I would try it out.

4. Nail Guard Sponges. I always buy these. They come in a six pack. They don't last a very long time but I like to replace them often anyways.

5. Dog Toy. Had to get this one for my puppy. He loved it as usual. These kind of Dollar Tree toys don't last a very long time for my dog but he enjoys them to the fullest.

6. Nature's Best Flea and Tick shampoo. I got this as an addition to the drops I use to prevent fleas and ticks. It is made from natural ingredients which I really like. Smells nice but doesn't stay on for a long time. It foams up pretty good.

1. I got this "piggy bank" frame to store bunch of pennies I accumulated. It is not heavy duty but will work if you are careful with it. Check when you pick because some of them might be better than others.

2. Wall Art. I will hang this one in my dining room. I thought it was really cute for a dollar.

3. Nature's Measure Women's Daily Vitamins. I love these vitamins. I believe these are the ones that actually work for me. They last for a month and come in small pills that are easy to swallow.

4. Glade Matcha Garden Spray. I wanted to try since I saw some people haul this spray. It smells like green tea and aloe. It's fresh and so far I like it.

Done for now. Until next one...

Dollar Tree Haul (5)

Hello!

Another one of Dollar Tree hauls is here. I went there today and found some goodies you might want to pick up too.

Here are some food items:

1. Trident Splash Strawberry w/ Lime gum (15 pieces). I thought I would try this one. I like to switch out gum flavors and looks like this one is gonna be yummy.

2. Sun Maid Oatmeal Raisin Apple Bite Size Premium Cookies. I saw someone haul these on YouTube and decided to grab them. They are pretty good, not too sweet but satisfied by sweet tooth. I wish they were more chewy than hard but overall - pretty good.

3. Nutty Naturals Rain Forest trail mix. I always try to pick these up since they are low in sodium. This makes a tasty and pretty healthy snack.

4. Red Bird Assorted Candy Puffs. I love these. I was excited to see this bonus size bag in different flavors.

5. Old Orchard Healthy Balance Pomegranate Blueberry Acai juice. This drink tastes really good and I like that it's reduced in sugar.

6. Chef Ernesto Veggie Burgers. These are potato based veggie burgers I thought I would try. They taste pretty good and great for quick meal.

On to the outdoor/grilling stuff:

1. Cooking Concepts Silicone Basting Brush. I had to grab one of these since I didn't have it.

2. Bamboo Windchime. I hung this on my porch and it looks pretty cute.

3. Windchime. This one is really cute. I love the bicycle and couldn't pass it. This replaced the other windchime I had for years.

4. Cooking Concepts Corn Holders. I thought these will come in handy while eating corn since it can be pretty messy. You get 4 pairs for a dollar.

5. Latex Grip Gloves. I got these in purple. They are not the best quality but I needed a new pair since other ripped.

Some hygiene products and pillowcases:

 1. Assured Oral Health Rinse in Fresh Mint. This one tastes really good. Alcohol free and has active ingredient.

2. Salon Selectives Moisture Renewal Shampoo. I love the hair mask from this brand so I thought I would try their shampoo. It has 15% bonus and is cruelty free.

3. Miss Spa Bath & Shower Gel in Pomegranate and Mango. I saw a lot of people haul this. I think it retails for more than a dollar. Smells really good. I was glad to see it's a woman owned brand.

4. Luxury Home Pillowcases. You get 2 pillowcases for a dollar which is a pretty good deal. They had many different prints but this kind of matched my bedding. The material feels pretty good so I definitely recommend you picking these up.

5. Colgate Total Whitening toothpaste. That's my staple buy at the Dollar Tree.

That's it for now. Let me know what you got at the Dollar Tree recently and until next haul!

ADOPT, DON'T SHOP!

Hello!

I am extremely passionate about pet adoption and I thought it would be great to spread the word about it.

I have two fur babies of my own, a cat and a dog.

I adopted my cat Bonita from SPCA (her previous owner surrendered her to the shelter) almost 4 years ago after my first cat Ruta passed away. I was devastated and Bonz (that's how I usually call Bonita :D) helped me to go through it. She is around 7 years old and has plenty of tortitude. Bonz is by my side most of the time and loves her playtime. We were definitely meant for each other.

A few months ago I also rescued my dog Otas from the local animal shelter where he came in as a stray. He is probably a little over a year old. I have wanted the dog for a while and there was no doubt it's going to be a pit bull. There are so many of them in the shelters and it's sad that so often they are being stereotyped and neglected. Otto the hippo (another way I often call him :D) is very energetic, goofy, stubborn and many other adjectives I could use to describe his colorful personality. Otas is a lot to handle but one thing I am certain - he is with me for life.

Click here to check out my Instagram page where I share their pictures.

I can't stress enough how important it is to adopt instead of buying. It doesn't only make you a better person, but also gives another chance for an animal in need. If you are looking for a furry family member, please consider a rescue.

Dollar Tree Haul (4)

Hello!

Here are my latest finds from the Dollar Tree.

1. White ceramic dispenser. I use this for the hand soap in the kitchen. I have never seen this kind of dispenser at the DT. It can be a little difficult to pour some soap in there since the opening is pretty narrow, but it's manageable. Pump works good so far and it looks really nice by the sink.

2. Reach Essentials Anti-Plaque Oral Rinse in Refreshing Mint. I haven't seen this purple version of Reach mouthwash before. It has an active ingredient, which I am always looking for and tastes good.

3. Little Secrets Toasted Coconut Dark Chocolate. This is my jam. I love these candies. They remind me of M&M's. Definitely recommend these.

4. Greenbrier Kennel Club Dog Biscuits in Basted Beef Flavor. My dog loves these. They offer a variety of them in different flavors. These, in particular, are bigger size bones out of the ones of this kind I've bought before.

5. Uno Dog Rib Bones. I buy these bones for my dog all the time. They last pretty long and my dog loves chewing on them. This is a great alternative for rawhide which I heard is not that good for dogs.

6. Extra Classic Bubble Gum. I always try to pick up my gum at the Dollar Tree. It seems to be a slightly better deal than anywhere else.

7. Kiss Gel Strong Nail Polish in Dorothy. I was excited to see this one since they usually don't carry these. I needed only one layer of it and the color is amazing. The brush is really big and wide which I like. The tip of it is square and not oval so it can be a little hard to paint your nails near the cuticles. Hopefully it lasts.

8. Essentials Lint Roller. It's one of my essential products I pick up at the DT. It was a bonus pack where you also get a travel lint roller.

9. Snacken Bone Beef Marrow Rings. I love getting these to keep my dog busy. They last a pretty long time and is better than rawhide.

That's it for now. Let me know what you picked up from the Dollar Tree lately in the comment section below, I would love to know.

Dollar Tree Coffee K-Cup Pods Review

Hello!

It's Monday... Let's talk about coffee.

So I decided to try out Coffee K-Cup Pods from the Dollar Tree. I wasn't expecting a lot but thought I could try this coffee out and let you know if it's worth a buck.

The packaging grabbed my attention. It's looks pretty cute. I decided to try this medium roast coffee in french vanilla flavor. There are 4 single serve cups in the box.

I just tried it with some creamer and sugar, just the way I always drink my coffee, and my verdict is a NO. I do not recommend these K-Cups. Main reason is the aftertaste of some almost bitter artificial flavor. I'm not sure if it's the french vanilla what makes the coffee taste bad but overall, I did not like it.

What is more, even though this product was made in USA, non-GMO and they state that the only one ingredient is 100% coffee, I was not a fan of the statement they had in small letters. It says: "WARNING. California Proposition 65. This Product May Contain A Chemical Known To The State Of California To Cause Cancer Or Birth Defects Or Other Reproductive Harm." This definitely concerns me.

I believe that it's better to spend a little more money and get a better quality coffee. I've always had bad luck with cheap coffees and this one is not an exception.

Let me know what's your favorite coffee in the comments section down below.

Easy Raisin Cake Recipe

Hello!

I found this easy raisin cake recipe and it soon became one of my favorites. Therefore, I would like to share this recipe with you guys.

You will need:
1 cup raisins,
2 cups water,
1/2 cup margerine,
1 tsp baking soda,
1/2 teaspoon salt,
1 cup white sugar,
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon,
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour.

Start with boiling raisins in the water for 10 mins. Then add margerine, let it melt and cool. Mix in flour, soda, salt, sugar, cinnamon. Mix well and pour into lightly greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 35 mins.

I also like to mix in or sprinkle on top some flax seeds before cooking.

Hope you enjoy!
