Dollar Tree Coffee K-Cup Pods Review

Hello!

It's Monday... Let's talk about coffee.

So I decided to try out Coffee K-Cup Pods from the Dollar Tree. I wasn't expecting a lot but thought I could try this coffee out and let you know if it's worth a buck.

The packaging grabbed my attention. It's looks pretty cute. I decided to try this medium roast coffee in french vanilla flavor. There are 4 single serve cups in the box.

I just tried it with some creamer and sugar, just the way I always drink my coffee, and my verdict is a NO. I do not recommend these K-Cups. Main reason is the aftertaste of some almost bitter artificial flavor. I'm not sure if it's the french vanilla what makes the coffee taste bad but overall, I did not like it.

What is more, even though this product was made in USA, non-GMO and they state that the only one ingredient is 100% coffee, I was not a fan of the statement they had in small letters. It says: "WARNING. California Proposition 65. This Product May Contain A Chemical Known To The State Of California To Cause Cancer Or Birth Defects Or Other Reproductive Harm." This definitely concerns me.

I believe that it's better to spend a little more money and get a better quality coffee. I've always had bad luck with cheap coffees and this one is not an exception.

Let me know what's your favorite coffee in the comments section down below.

Easy Raisin Cake Recipe

Hello!

I found this easy raisin cake recipe and it soon became one of my favorites. Therefore, I would like to share this recipe with you guys.

You will need:
1 cup raisins,
2 cups water,
1/2 cup margerine,
1 tsp baking soda,
1/2 teaspoon salt,
1 cup white sugar,
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon,
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour.

Start with boiling raisins in the water for 10 mins. Then add margerine, let it melt and cool. Mix in flour, soda, salt, sugar, cinnamon. Mix well and pour into lightly greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 35 mins.

I also like to mix in or sprinkle on top some flax seeds before cooking.

Hope you enjoy!
